- Pace: Slow to moderate.
- Climate: The climate in Cartagena and its surroundings is hot and humid tropical, characterized by high temperatures throughout the year and a marked sensation of heat due to humidity. The average annual temperature is around 82°F (28°C), with lows of around 75°F (24°C) and highs that often reach 90°F (32°C).
- Difficulty: Easy to moderate. The terrain combines slight elevations and flat areas.

ITINERARY
5:00 to 6:00 a.m. | Pickup, transfer, and arrival at Camelias farm We will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to the municipality of Turbaco, just 30-40 minutes from the tourist area of Cartagena. If you would like a different pick-up time, please let us know.
6:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. | Enjoy the sunrise in Turbaco with a cup of coffee Enjoy authentic Colombian coffee and seasonal fruits while birdwatching at the feeders
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. | Guided birdwatching outing on trails We will take a trip along different private trails in the tropical dry forest
9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. | Typical breakfast Enjoy a typical Caribbean breakfast
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | Guided trail viewing tour We take a tour of different private trails in the tropical dry forest
11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Hydration and rest Take a break at the Bohío and enjoy freshly prepared lemonade or orange juice made with fruit harvested from the farm's crops
12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Lunch You will taste the best of Caribbean cuisine from the municipality of Turbaco. The menu includes options for all tastes, such as roasts, sancochos, chicharrón, chicken, pork, or mixed pastries, and mote de queso.
2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Transfer to Cartagena
